Participating in the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporations’ 401(a) Plan is very beneficial to you the employee. EVSC makes contributions to your account. Contributions are then invested in the Plans’ investment(s) you select.

The VEBA/HRA Plan can help you provide for tax-favored payment of medical costs and other qualified expenses. Through the Plan, contributions made by EVSC now can help in paying for ongoing and future medial expenses. EVSC will fund amounts to your account. The funds used from the account for payment of qualified expenses are tax-free to you.

Enrolling for your 403b, 401a, and VEBA/HRA plans can be accomplished by contacting your EVSC HR department. In addition, a dedicated Liberty Wealth Services financial advisor will make an onsite visit to your school/building each school year to provide convenient guidance and advice regarding your retirement benefits. Scheduling will be provided in advance of each visit.
Liberty Wealth Services provides Financial Literacy Workshops for EVSC employees. These workshops are designed to provide education on financial planning basics. Workshops will be held in early September and February each year.
